The event will also host the fifth meeting of the AfriNIC Government Working Group (AfGWG), with the intention of strengthening the collaboration between$ AfriNIC, African Governments and regulators on building an African infrastructure for the future. AfriNIC-‐15 will include tutorials, training, and presentations on key Internet issues such as IPv6, DNSSEC and governance, while playing host  to the leading Internet players from across the region.
The broad technical community is encouraged to attend the meeting and take part in vibrant policy discussions, including the distribution policies for Internet number resources.
Adiel Akplogan, CEO of AFRINIC comments, "its great  to be hosting the fifth meeting of the AfGWG at AfriNIC-‐15. Governments have shown an increasing interest in playing an even more active role in understanding the
Internet. It is vital that all key  stakeholders are brought together in way such as this event allows us to. It's through working together we can  garantee  continued  growth of an internet economy in Africa
Having attended the sixth annual IGF (Internet Governance Forum) meeting in September 2011 and the ICANN meeting in October 2011,  AfriNIC is well placed to lead discussion on issues raised at the meetings and provide an update on global
issues. AfriNIC 15 is taking place at the Hilton hotel, Boulevard du 20 Mai, Yaoundé link
